This gives us both a chance to ask all the questions and make sure we're like Goldilocks and have just the right fit.

Yep, you've got some homework. But don't worry, I do too. Once the contract is in and your non-refundable deposit is received, it's time to get to work. From a brand questionnaire to pinterest boards, a super deep-dive strategy session, and tons of communication, we'll get to the heart of you brand, why you do what you do, who you serve, and what your end goal looks like.

We've done our homework, we've strategized and brainstormed solutions, now it's time for me to really get crackin'. I'll use what I have + my brand research and strategy to begin exploring concepts for your brand. Once I've honed in on what I hope will be winners, I'll get them fully fleshed out and ready to present to you.

Once you've seen your designs and had a day or so to let it marinate, you'll have three rounds of revisions for us to fine tune and tweak your concept as we work toward sheer perfection.

You'll get each of your designs in all available file formats (.eps, .png, .jpeg, .svg, and so on). You'll also get each design in all the final color combinations and any alternate versions, submarks, etc. Additionally, I'll give you a file usage guide to help understand what all the formats are and when it's best to use each as well as guidelines to help you make the most out of your new brand. And, of course, I'll be here if you have questions. 

How do payments work?
There will be a 25% non-refundable deposit, then everyone is automatically set up on a payment plan occurring every two weeks. I know starting and running your own business is crazy hard, not just emotionally and mentally, but financially too. If you feel you need something else, let's chat. Fair warning: no files are released until final payment is received.

What if I just need a logo or some branded collateral?
Let's definitely talk about that! For the most part, I do require all my clients to go through a brand strategy session (more on that HERE). That's best way for me to really get to know your brand and create those design solutions that are backed not only by research, but intentional and authentic strategy. So hit me up, and let's see whatcha got!

Why is it so expensive?
I saved this for last because a) I knew it'd be a long answer and b) I know you've probably wondered. I think the best way to answer this is to talk about the design process. There's the part everyone knows about: the logo or other visual representation. But that's just a teeny tiny piece in a massive puzzle. Every project starts with research and strategy. Then there are countless hours of initial sketches, concepts, and the like. Sure, you can pay a lot less and get a logo from tons of websites. But a brand experience is about customizing every inch of your brand, not just your logo. We're talking typography, color palettes, alternate logos and submarks, patterns, etc etc. And, ultimately, you're investing in one-on-one consulting and expertise to produce something no one else can replicate quite the same way. Again, it's an investment, for sure. But so are cars and homes and tattoos and, heck, even hair care, and we tend to seek the best in those areas. So I guess it depends on if you're looking for a bargain or an investment. Ya feel me?
