An extremely talented creative and photographer, Kayleigh knew it was time for a rebrand of her business, Fitspired Photography. 

While it started as a hobby-turned-into-a-business, and one that focused more on her love of the fitness industry and power lifting, Kayleigh soon found that what she really had a calling and passion for was find those moments of raw and authentic beauty in her clients and capturing them in one perfect moment. 

And I'm here to tell you, she has a crazy talent for this, no matter who's in front of her camera. But that meant her old brand no longer fit her new story or her target audience. 

The more I talked to Kayleigh about her business and what she loves most about it, the more the word "raw" refused to leave my brain. Once I decided to go with that, the rest just came a-flowin. From the simple and a little bit raw camera illustration to the fonts and the calming and inviting color palette...this rebrand was an absolute pleasure, and Kayleigh was a dream to work with.

This is a company I can definitely get behind, and one I am so honored to have designed for.

Owning a home can be super stressful (can I get an amen?) and, often times, home owners find themselves in some pretty tough situations with their mortgage. 

Note Velocity seeks to empower investors, home owners, and communities by helping and serving and keeping people IN their homes, rather than kicking them out. 

The founder, Brent Cooper, could tell you more about the note industry than I ever could, so I won't even try. But if you or someone you know is struggling a bit right now (and, hey, we all have those points in our lives), reach out to Note Velocity. These are people who genuinely care and want to help. 

Their branding was also super fun to create. I wanted to give them something classic, but also sleek and modern. These guys know their stuff, but they're the pretty far from your typical finance guy. And they needed a brand to match...one that was professional, clean, and confident, but also approachable. 

Brent was so great to work with, and his passion for what he's doing was crystal clear from the start. We're currently finishing out their website, so stay tuned!

Ally Culture Consulting, LLC and Stephanie Dement are about helping companies, churches, schools, and other organizations and individuals create welcoming and inclusive environments for all. Through her programs, she provides support and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community by educating a variety of organizations on LGBTQ+ culture and how they themselves can become allies.

For her new business, Stephanie needed a brand that embraced LGBTQ+ culture while remaining elevated and attractive to her ideal clients. 

Taking a slightly deviated spin on the colors of the rainbow, we created a sleek and modern logo (with plenty of alternatives) that pays homage to the communities she seeks to serve. A carefully chosen script font (used very intentionally and strategically) rounded out our typography selection.

It's going to be really challenging to keep this short and sweet. I have been so fortunate to work with Dr. Stevie Dawn Blakely as a designer, a client, and a friend. She's nothing short of amazing, so designing for her is pretty much a dream. 

Stevie Dawn Inspires is not a new brand, at all, but Stevie wanted an update and a refresh. This particular brand (she has many) is her speaking brand, and therefore her ideal clients are companies and professional organizations. We wanted to get a brand that spoke to who Stevie is as a person which, coincidentally, is exactly who she is as a speaker: approachable, wildly knowledgeable, but not at all pretentious. 

I knew I wanted to keep a color palette within the "wine" family, and typography that kept it classy but not snobby, a hint of femininity while still remaining gender neutral. 

We got a few alternate layouts and a nifty little submark, but the pattern? That pattern was icing on the cake. I'll let Stevie tell you why it's so amazing. All you have to do is ask her, and she'll be only too happy. She's on the world wide web and facebook, so she's not too hard to find.

Jennifer already had a great sense of her brand, her colors, and her vibe. When I designed for her personally, I was able to discover her love for phoenixes, which I worked into her logo. But this brand would require something really special. 

I'm the first to admit I'm not artist when it comes to drawing, painting, and the like. But I knew that's what it had to be for this brand. And, I gotta tell ya...I had a blast doing it, and love the end result. The gold foil coloring was that perfect final touch. 

And, by the way, if you're ever in need of a makeup artist or a licensed esthetician, you've GOT to go see my girl. Outside of her amazing talent, she's just a pretty fab human being.

First things first, let's meet (over the phone, video chat, in person, whatever floats your boat) so we can chat and you can tell me all about your business and the story behind it! This gives us both a chance to ask all the questions and make sure we're like Goldilocks and just the right fit.

From a brand questionnaire to collaborative pinterest boards, and tons of communication, we'll get to the heart of you brand, why you do what you do, who you serve, and what your end goal looks like.

We've done our homework, now it's time for me to really get crackin'. I'll use what I have + my brand research and strategy to begin exploring concepts for your brand. Once I've honed in on what I hope will be winners, I'll get them fully fleshed out and ready to present to you.

Once you've seen your designs and had a day or so to let it marinate, you'll have three rounds of revisions for us to fine tune and tweak your concept as we work toward sheer perfection.

It's definitely time to celebrate. You have a shiny new brand to show off, and we're going to make sure everyone knows it. All digital files will be released to you along with a file usage guide, branding board, and brand guidelines. Time to party like it's 1999.

There will be a 25% non-refundable deposit, then everyone is automatically set up on a payment plan occurring every two weeks. I know starting and running your own business is crazy hard, not just emotionally and mentally, but financially too. If you feel you need something else, let's chat. But a brand experience is about customizing every inch of your brand, not just your logo. We're talking typography, color palettes, alternate logos and submarks, patterns, etc etc. And, ultimately, you're investing in one-on-one consulting and expertise to produce something no one else can replicate quite the same way. Again, it's an investment, for sure. But so are cars and homes and tattoos and, heck, even hair care, and we tend to seek the best in those areas. So I guess it depends on if you're looking for a bargain or an investment. Ya feel me?
