So now you know a little bit about me, and hopefully more than a little bit about Quixotic Chimera. But maybe, just maybe, you were sitting there thinking you needed more!
I can do that…
I am engaged to the most wonderful, weird, funny, talented, supportive, and encouraging man I know, Andrew. He’s the bees knees.
I am a dancer. Ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, country/western, latin, and west coast swing. Dance is good for the soul and it truly is for anyone and everyone.
I mentioned I’m a lion chaser. But unless you’ve read Mark Batterson’s “Chase the Lion,” you have no idea what that really means. Here’s what I can tell you: this is what started my entire journey. Trust me, you want and NEED to read this book. It’ll change your life, friends. “If your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s too small.”
I am the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2003! WHOOP!!!
We basically have our own zoo at home with 6 dogs and 2 cats. I’m not just fine with it, I love it.
I say I’m an undercover nerd, but I’m not sure how undercover it really is anymore. Andrew says I’m an eclectic nerd. I feel this is accurate. Former WoW player, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Firefly, mythologoy, Marvel…sci-fi/fantasy is my jam.
None of what’s happening in my life now, or will happen in the future, has been possible without God’s immense favor and blessing. I felt God calling me to step out and take a huge leap of faith, and with a ton of prayer and the support of our closest family and friends, we chose to obey that call. I have NO idea how we’re going to “make it,” and nothing about what we’re doing makes sense. But it doesn’t have to. I just have to place my faith in Him each day and trust in what I cannot see. And I do. 100%. He is good, and He is faithful.

We should totally be friends:
**Disclaimer: This is a shameless plug, but not from the author. I don’t get anything from posting this here. Except the hope that at least a few people will feel a stirring in their heart when they read these words, the way I did. Maybe those stirrings will lead to something bold and amazing and utterly life changing. So, go. Chase the lion, my friends!**
